Obama wants our kids to learn Spanish if he gets elected?

I do not conceive this is right! We springy in the Usa and when our Chilren Grow up to be Adults ,If they chosse to see a differnt module than there choice.But I do not poverty it pushed on our children.Whats your Opnion?

I think it shouldn’t be pushed on kids, it’s their choice.
I think we should have to option to have language classes for students. I don’t think it’s right to make our children speak another language or anyone for that matter because people of OTHER backgrounds come into our country. If you want to live in the US, learn our language.
That. Is. Stupid. I agree with you. Children shouldn’t have to learn ANY other language unless they want to, and if they do, they should get a choice. There are lot’s of different races out there which means lots of different languages, which are open to learn (and stuff). BTW i am latino, and am bilingual
I think it´s good!! ´cause when you are kid.. is easy to learn a language!!! and when they grew up… they decide to continue or not the studies…
Learning Spanish is no big deal. It was taught in High School when I was there. (I’m 76 now) HOWEVER. people in the USA should not be forced to learn it because someone from a Spanish speaking country decides to cross the border (illegally) and doesn’t understand English. To become a naturalized Citizen you are SUPPOSED to know how to read, speak and write enough English to make your way. (Notice I said “supposed”) Speaking Spanish should not be mandatory.
Watch out for Obama. He’s a sneaky sucker.
Spanish is a high growing language, more people hire bilingual employees, and as a HS student, I don’t see this as a problem, especially becasue of the current denial that everyone is in that our jobs are being outsourced.

I’d rather have my kid learn spanish than be out of a job, not be able to afford gas, and have every country that thinks differently than we do as an enemy (all things that happen when republicans are in power)
It makes sense with us being so close to South America and Mexico, to each his own though, some of yall just can’t stand the guy for some crazy reason, me I can’t stand him for his views on the 2nd Amendment.
I think this is America & if people come here they should learn to speak ENGLISH. Because all of us learning Spanish isn’t fair. We were born here, they chose to come here.
From a rights and lawful point of view, no thats not right. From a reality stand point this would be great for kids. Kids can pick up languages 10 times faster than adults and in thie country being bilingual is a big asset to an employer.
if he wants our kids to learn to speak spanish, then he should run for pres in Mexico. this is the USA, we speak english. He needs to say it “every-person” will learn english.
